• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I don't have many either but here's a couple of my earliest bikes (Honda CG125, Honda CD175, Royal Enfield 350)

The CD175 was my winter hack and also used whenever my main bike was off the road. When I finally got rid of it, it was looking pretty sad:

From the early eighties:
1982 Suzuki GS 450TX
1983 Honda GL 1100 I

The little Zook was my first reliable bike, and it set the hook!
I owned the GoldWing for six years, and it introduced me to the concept of "Farkling"...

...And the Missus hasn't forgiven me yet!

oh yea, forgot all about Suzuki.
my first bike was a 1972 380Gt with expansion chambers and a high sissy bar

I don't have any of my old photos of my bikes back then but here are some of my dads Coast to Coast trip in 1938 , his love of travel and adventure transfered to me. " Thanks Dad".

1969 Honda 350 ....my first ride.
1975 Honda 550 Four....my first new motorcycle. Wish that I still had it.
1981 Suzuki GS 450 ....light and handled like a dream.
1982 Suzuki GS 850G ....my first "big" bike. Great looking machine, and I put a Windjammer fairing on it.
1990 Honda 650 Hawk....lots of fun, but couldn't ride it any serious distance.
1995 Honda PC800 Pacific Coast....unique, mellow, easy ride....great trunk, too.
2003 Honda GL 1800 Gold Wing....the best machine ever. Rode it all over this country with the wife on back.
2004 Harley Davidson 883 Sportster.....fun, but no real suspension. Seat was like sitting on a rock.
2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic.....nice, mellow bike for short rides.
2011 Suzuki 650 VStrom...absolutely the most FUN motorcycle I've ever had. It always made me feel "GREAT".
2014 Spyder RT-S ..... the jury's still out.

I wish I had pictures....but like others, I was out having fun riding.

easysuper, those are O U T S T A N D I N G pictures.
thanks for sharing

From 1979 my ~1972 Suzuki GT550. I almost lost my life more than once on that bike. The photo was taken after I crashed and rebuilt it. As luck would have it, 1. I survived and 2. when I bought the bike, it came with another bike, less engine/trans so it was only a matter of swapping out parts, including the bent fork tubes and swing arm. The dent in the left header pipe was the only remaining evidence of the crash.

I was 17 years old and we lived on NAS Guantanamo Bay Cuba at the time the photo was taken.

My last ride before the RT and F3. 1987 Suzuki Cavalcade. Sold it around 1992. The trailer was home made out of a car top carrier and narrowed utility trailer.

First Bike

The only picture had of it. It was a Honda CB400F. Great bike and I too wish I still had it. It was a 1976 model if memory serves me. I remember it weighed 375 pounds and I was about 125. It could go from a red light to about 80 mph and back to zero between red lights.
Young and dumb.
