• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We are new spyder riders and love it! We realized we were short of luggage space for distance riding and PURCHAED A COOCASE TOPCASE WITH A MOUNTING RACK(from the internet) BUT UPON SELF INSTALLING IT WE ARE GOING TO LOOSE OUR BACK REST:[ (we weren't told this) Does any one have suggestions and or what we can do as options for a backrest! We saw a rubber one on a vidio but having a hard time finding a place to order one! Any help is appreciated-THANK!! we are from WI

Hi there....I too have a Coo case on my Spyder. I love the case! The inside liner, keyless remote and taillights are great! I believe you can buy a rubber backrest that mounts to the Coo Case. Go to twistedthrottle.com. They have all the accessories for the Coo case.

Curious, did you mount in on a RS, and what mounting rack worked for you?

Our friend is installing it, and he mentioned we need a different back rest upon instalation because we'll loose our existing one which we love! I thought the passenger would have sore back by the end of the ride resting on the hard case so thought I would get some ideas;) It happens my husband is the driver and lucky me uses the back rest, I am a small and petite lady and some said I may need to do a trial fit due to my size? My concern with the gel would it be to high and then I loose the lumbar support my existing on gives me!

Doesn't the bag have a backrest that you can install on it? I have a Givi hard case on the back of the bike and I installed the back rest if anyone is ever riding there...

I also recommend a hard bag as you can put a light strip on it and connect it to your brake lights...more visibility is a good thing!

I mounted mine on a 2008 GS. Should be the same as the RS. Not sure which mounting plate I used. I think it was a Givi but not sure. Twistedthrottle.com should be able to tell you which one.
