• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Back in the 3 wheel saddle again!

I'm on three wheels again. Got my first Spyder for my wife back in '09. It put too much heat on her legs, even with all the suggested modifications. We sold it. When we moved to Alabama, I bought a 14 RT Limited and added tons of lighting and Lamonster handlebar risers. Sold it a year later because my wife still loes the harley sound. Went through three Harleys and a Harley trike (hated it!) before getting my final Spyder, and 15 RT Limited. Can't find a Lamonster handlebar riser for it! Wife accepts that I'm too old for a Harley dressser with her on the back now that I'm 79!

Congrats. I still would like riding a 2 wheel but kinda know when to give up. Enjoy yourselves. Life is way to short.

2up on a spyder at 79. Keep on truck'n man, you've still got a lot of miles and smiles to go.

Keep on keeping on........

.

We are 74 at our next birthdays and ryde whenever it's warm enough. 2 or 3 long trips a summer with plenty of day rydes with BattleBorn Spyders. Keep at it!!!! I still ski ( too fast sometimes) and plan to ski into my 80s ( but i'll slow down some).

Welcome back. Glad to hear you are three wheeling again. This is the year that I am also giving up two wheeling. At 75, I don't feel safe holding my 700# machine up. My left leg goes weak at all the wrong times. :lecturef_smilie:

I will be sticking with my F3's.

hey ARtraveler "i will not be sticking with my F3's"

'73 here. 4 years ago I decided I couldn't do the HD baggers anymore, and bought a 2016 TriGlide. Very nice tourer, but hard on the shoulders, since no counter steering. Am getting ready to pull the trigger on a 2018 T3-L as soon as the Harley is sold. Getting old aint' for wimps.

Lamonster has a riser for the F3 models. Haven't heard of a riser for the RT models just the brp tri axe's replacement bars.
