• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I wonder how much it has to do with the supposed appearance of a black fenderless Spyder in next June's Transformers 2 movie? That's a Corvette concept below, by the way:

(My son, a Transformers aficionado, thinks that the Spyder vehicle will be the character who is Optimus Prime's robot girlfriend, Nightbird... Hey, you need to know these things so you can carry on an intelligent conversation the next time you're babysitting!)

Also, for you back in black fans, the Spyderteam recently wrote

"Currently we only have the part number listing for the entire Phantom Black Kit. The individual parts should become available to your dealer not too long after the Kit goes on sale..." :popcorn:

The Can-Am Spyder Demo team had a flat black Spyder here, as well. Kinda what Darth Vader would ride, I think. It was cool. :thumbup:
 
Hmmm.....I may have to order another, to go black/phantom. :2thumbs:
I love the yellow though. Mine hase a yellow windshield and a yellow web in front of the exhaust! ;)

I have a complete set of silver panels, that are brand spanking new! I had the dealer install the phantom kit for me before I picked-up.
It was rainy in Boston today, but I'll snap some pics tomorrow and post them for ya!
