• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Back from the dead...Thank You SpyderLovers

Welcome back Lamont. We're glad that you've beaten the scourge cancer. Recovery will probably be tough but considering how you've handled your life I'm sure you can get through it. Prayers out to you and your family.

It's great to have you back and hopefully for many years to come. I enjoy looking and of course purchasing the products you offer on your website. Can't wait for the mirror relocation kit for the f3t. Keep up the good work and stay healthy.

Glad your back on the road to recovery, Lamont. You and Joan have been in our prayers . So here's hoping for the best for you.

What a great post to read. And from the BOSS himself. Glad things are on the up and up for you. God Bless! And hopefully your prayers will be answered soon. Tom :spyder:

Never fun to contend with life threatening issues.

Glad to read you are doing well, and hope for a complete “recovery” as parts become available.

Wanted to share, huge kudos to Anthony not only while you were absent, but for having the desire to sort out any issues with the website and truly elevate so much of it. His passion shows in the improvements he made, plus a very fair and reasonable moderator when needed.

Thanks for the update Lamont, I have been a fan since the Valkyrie days! Do you still have your old Valk - I wish I would have kept mine.

Great to hear from you... hoping for continued health this year! Thanks for all you have done for SpyderLover's... (it's still the 1st thing I read every morning). And thanks also to the moderators who took over while you were recuperating! Our prayers continuing to come your way for you and your family!

Lamont (and Joan and family), Having never been through it myself, I can not imagine what you've gone through. We're thankful you are coming through it and continued prayers out to you and your family. And Kudos to your medical team.

Lamont,
Welcome back and thank you for starting this spyder site. I have been following your life battles( Liver cancer) hope you get your liver transplant soon.

I'll visit your Lamonster Garage website, soon, and I have bought several things for you website in the past.

You and Joan stay strong for each other. Thanks for the administers for stepping in while you going thru your life battle.

I spoke to you briefly at Spyder Quest in Lake George, New York in 2012, 2013, and spoke to you at Spyder Fest in 2014. I also briefly rode with you /and your wife when you were riding with the Road Warriors Foundation (From Valcourt, Canada to Florida in 2013) I rode with the group from Mount Washington, New Hampshire to ????.

I have learned a lot about spyders, and have met some great/awesome spyder owners/friends , and been to 2 spyder events because of this site. This site/and my spyder/ has opened up many avenues for me. I even meant my significant other at a Spyder event.

Lamont - I am new here and of course we have not met. However, like you, my wife is a cancer survivor and I know the battle she fought. Congratulations on winning your personal battle and being cancer free and I am hoping that a good new liver is available for you very soon!

I don't know what to say. I, like everyone else on this board, am very thankful to have you back.

May 2020 and beyond be full of life, fun and pleasure for you and your family.

Regards,
Joe T.
