B.E.S.T warranty and Florida question....

I am in Florida and I would like to purchase the BRP B.E.s.T warranty when I buy my new Spyder(possibly from iMotorsports in Chicago). I went to West Coast Power Sports in Clearwater today and one of the salesmen told me that if I purchase the BEST warranty in another state, no Can Am dealer in Florida will honor it (Florida dealers cannot legally sell the BEST warranty). I believe he was FOS. Can anyone confirm this?

I did a google search and found a PDF thats says that BRP will not cover Florida starting 2010 i tried to attach the file but it would not upload.

.....buy the CornerStone..... less expensive, no deductible, and same coverage. Only difference, does not pay a second time for the same problem, if not fixed properly by dealer the first time.... but then, you have a recourse on the dealer...

Yes I know that. Not available for purchase in Florida. I’ll clarify my question. Let’s say I bought a spyder a year ago in Chicago with BRPs 3year extended warranty (BEST). Then I decide to move to Florida. Is the warranty now null and void? I understand the warranty cannot be sold in Florida. It says nothing about using your existing warranty. Thanks in advance

From what I've been told, and read, BEST is not sold or honored in Florida by CanAm

I am sure you can use the warranty even tho they don't sell in in "FLORIDA" but a phone call can confirm your question. :thumbup: It cant hurt to call them.

But then again I am not BRP! :roflblack:

If not drive across the boarder and have it honored in another state. I know PIA.

The warranty cannot be sold in Florida but my dealer in Naples did warranty work on it several times. I have moved and that was 2 years ago.

It 's true BEST warranties can't be sold in Florida. Before I purchased one (from Bert's Mega Mall) for my '12 RTS, I checked with my local dealer to see if BEST was honored-it was. Good thing, I had to use it once and it more than paid for itself. Unless I'm mistaken, all Can-Am dealers must accept The BEST warranty. Dale

I think that , if the salesperson said that they wouldn’t honor the Best warranty, that I’d tell the salesperson that you will be buying from a different dealer.
