I am thinking about purchasing the extended warranty for my F3L.

Buy it now or later?

What did you pay for 36 month extended ? From who?

I am wanting to shop prices but only with competitive dealers.

Thanks in advance.

LOOK HERE

Try Bert's Mega Mall, they are very competitive on pricing..........if nothing else you can use their PRICE as a bargaining chip :popcorn::popcorn:..................Mike

I think I paid 999.00 for the 3 year when I bought mine a few weeks ago. I purchased my bike from flat out in martinsville,in.

Another good lead is to contact David at Sierra Cycles in Sierra Vista, AZ. He gave me the best price when I was shopping to extend mine a few months ago. Also some on the forum have said that Pitbull offers a competitive price.

So now you have three competitive dealers to choose from. I'd contact them all and see what deal you can cut.
 It doesn't hurt to mention that you found out about them on this forum when you talk with them.

As for when to buy it, the rules are that you must buy the warranty before your active warranty expires, and you can only cover it for a total of 5 years between the original warranty and the BEST extension. Also buy as many years as you think you will use up front, as it costs more to extend the BEST warranty once you already have it. (The price BEST charges is incrimentally cheaper the more years of coverage you purchase at once.) There is a $70 "contract fee" waived if you buy it within 60 days of purchasing the bike. If you miss that window, you will have to pay the $70. Dealers cannot waive it.

Rob,

Do you have contact info for David at Sierra Cycles? I'm shopping for a BEST warranty as well.

Thanks

Pam

Did you purchase your bike from Flatout?

I called them earlier this morning and was quoted a higher price. I also called Flatout in Indy and got a different price ... SMH they are not consistent. I visited both show rooms 4 x before I purchased my bike and couldn't get a good price ... I want to support my local dealer but they make it hard.

This is what I got from Burts Mega Mall for my 2015 RT Special Series:

1 Year $521
2 Year $671
3 Year $771

And from Sierra Cycles, even better!

1 year $420
2 year $570
3 year $670

I still have ten months left on my factory warranty so I'll wait until it's close to expiration.

Interesting, I got a 3 year B.E.S.T. Warranty from Bert's for $679.00 in June.

I had it combined into the financing when I bought it from them, started out dealing with the Indy store but ended up buying one from the martinsville store because they had a black one.
Now if I could find a #5 brake rod in stock somewhere I'd be happier.

I got the same quote from Sierra which is the lowest thus far and I got some additional info from them including a multi page features and benefits document plus the BRP brochure.

Burt's sent me to a voice mail for warranty dept. and finance team didn't answer the phone.

My parts Dept. said we have the #5 UFIT kit in stock for both the SE6 and SM6;

SE6 part number is 219400571
SM6 part number is 219400565

Let me know which model and where you need it shipped to and I can get you a quote ASAP.

It looks like Sierra responded here and said they have it. Sierra seems to be very competitive for me on the extended warranty thus far.

Maybe also check iMotorsports - they give a discount for spyderlovers members - seemed like 25% for my travel cover with free shipping.
