• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

AY4B Getting My Christmas Stuff Soon From Corbin

Worked all day on it and gave up for today. lots of bolts and hardware missing. The directions are poor at best. I got maybe half way with the install. :gaah:

Looking threw your albums, is it the silver one? I have seen those farrings on Corbins site. They are very different but cool looking. Here is a link of a pic of the setup I ordered from behind.

I also was interested in the smuggler seat from corbin but i like function over looks & went the smoothspyder backrest instead i think i made better choice as now i can carry my sissybar bag (holds lots more) & can bring inside if i likeImageUploadedByTapatalk1454040256.476614.jpg. & the back rest hold my flag quite propperImageUploadedByTapatalk1454040450.008998.jpg. Pleas give reports as to how the stash works for you. Thx

I started the install with the instructions saying to remove the seat, after that, I took a closer look at the instructions only to discover they had sent F3 instructions. That was not a problem because anyone can download the full set of instructions on their site. I called 3 times today to figure out if they had sent the right hardware kit. So far all the main bracket hardware is correct but the bolts are not right.

The Fleetliner bags are DONE!! They look Awesome! Now I need the Smuggler trunk and seat to come in to finish the new look. The install was very difficult. I gave up on the help line and just figured it out including going to Lowes to buy a few nuts and bolts. The directions leave out quite a bit. You have to go slowly and read between the lines. If at all possible, take it to the Corbin center to get it done. I do not regret it one bit though. I feel very accomplished. Thank you all for letting me share and vent . Ill have to post pics when it all gets done.

Just a guess but the problem would be matching paint:rolleyes: Looking forward to seeing the pics of it all done. Will be better to see in person at spyderfest!:yes: Does the ST seat have the same fuel door lid they show for RT?

The paint is a perfect match. The Corbin bags are not plastic ABS, they are all fiberglass. I did however find one blemish down low about the size of a pimple. The seat does have the gas door. It has not come in yet but I should get it early this week. All the parts including the steel brackets are all fabbed individually for each order. One of the brackets was a little off and I had to drill out one of the lower holes just a little in the left bag to get the bolt to go threw but it was just a minor inconvenience.

You can call them. Each seat is made from scratch per order. They can make it how you want. They have a long list of different patterns and materials to choose from. You can even tell them what color stitching you want and colors of the logos. I did not want a red logo because red and Cognac do not go well together, So the logos will be grey.

I ordered a couple more farkles today.
Lamonster Web Pegs
And a shorty antenna from Wallmart.
The new location of the antenna was bugging me so I opted to get the shorty.
Im exited about the next wave of mods due hopefully in around a week.

I got the Lamonster Web pegs yesterday and installed them. They put my feet in a very comfortable position. I was worried that there was not enough room behind the front tires for my feet but they fit fine, even though my legs are long and I have a size 14 shoe, the tips of my shoe are still behind the front fender.
The wide platform makes for a secure feel. The bracket supports are very beefy and even give more strength to the lower frame with that big steel plate.

Spyderpops stainless steel grills

I also ordered a carbon fiber licence plate frame from tricled.
http://www.tricledusa.com/#!product/prd1/4458948841/carbon-fiber-license-frame-motorcycle-and-auto
Under the licence plate, I bought a Tydek sheet with a carbon fiber pattern. I will attempt to make an extension below the license plate to act like a mud flap. My wife keeps telling me my spyder throws rocks and she refuses to ride behind me.

Ok how about "AY4B Getting My Easter Stuff From Corbin":banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
This is starting to sound like a broken record. I called again and got the same story I have got the past 3 times I have called. These calls have been spaced out weeks apart. The response goes something like this, " It is in the paint booth and as soon as they get it painted they will assemble it and it will be ready to ship out in a week.

109 Days!!
That is how long ago I ordered my seat and smuggler from Corbin. 109 Days! I called again today. The same lady that told me monday that it was ready to ship the next day told me today It was supposed to already have shipped. She said She will see what is the holdup and call me back. Still no call, No email, Nothing.

Dont even get me started with Corbin's Quality control or customer service issues. Good luck!

I finally got my XK Glow LED light kit installed today. I did Zone one under the Spyder and in the back wheel well ( 8 lights, 2 under the front A frames, 4 under all the floor boards, and 2 in the rear wheel well). Zone 2 is around the upper front. 2 below the fog light hole, 2 in the front suspension area, and 2 over the engine with light coming out of the air panels. I have been playing with all the ways to use it with 16 million colors, I turned on the mic pick up with music and the engine running. I had to turn the sensitivity all the way down. It was very sensitive.
I did not connect the brake light wire. I need to figure out where is the best place to connect it.
