• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

AWSOME SPYDER!!

I can't put my finger on it but this is the most awsome Spyder I have seen to date. I bet this thing just flies!! Fantastic work. The bars are turned slightly which probably explains the slightly "off-camber" look of the front tire there. Other than that, that is one fine specimen!! That swingarm doesn't look stock either. Not sure who the company Spydermax is but they seem to know what they are doing! :D

I guess I'll have to be the odd one out but I just don't get it. Why pay more for bike rubber and actually narrow your contact patch because of the rounded edges. The chain, :wrong:. Don't know what else to say about that. But you know that's the nice thing about this hobby. It's all about making it your own and he definitely has done that. Just not my cup of tea. Oh, I do like the dual exhaust. :2thumbs:

Hey Gargoyle! Whats up brother!

I know what you are saying. That's why I said I couldn't put my finger on it. Somehow the profile just struck me as very unique. And I bet those tires are super sticky! They probably won't last long, but who cares!

The chain doesn't bother me so much. After watching some pretty serious Moto GP lately, chains seem to be working pretty well!! Of course that is a racing application; the belt is much smoother and wil last longer too...

I guess it's just so unique it just struck me.

Those bikes looks very nice but it looks like aweful lot of money to make it that way. To each their own. I spent enough on mine with accessories and after BRP spent 130M developing it, I say that's enough dough.:D Imma just gonna ride the sucka ... if I want more speed, I'll get a Bousa.

The chain was necessary due to the fact the the Hyabusa motor doesn't have a belt drive.... Yep- This Spyder does not have a Rotax in it , it has been swapped for a 200hp fire breather... I read about it about 6 months ago on a Europe forum , I can't remember where. Schweeeeeet :2thumbs:

Thanks for posting, as you confirmed my suspicions on the switching out of the power plant. Very sweet indeed!

I don't know...it looks as though one slight let-go of the grips,

you and your Spyder will instantly be in different zip codes???

..there where more then 250 (?) spyders and more then 500 people
seemed to me that everyone had made some mods on his spyder .
maybe the different to your US meetings is .. we had more then 16 different languages ... (russian-poland.-france-germany ..) and mentalities
if there would be the next event in italy - should be a reason for all of you - to visit europe .. like a opera ?

Oh my gosh! This is great! You are going to make me change my pick, aren't you? :roflblack: These are very gifted people to be sure. This one looks like half Ninja and half Spyder! COmpletely off the hook. But Man2Wild has a good point; MONEY MONEY MONEY!! That kind of money will buy ya something ya don't have to completely re-engineer.

But I like the fact that these guys took on the challenge and made it work. I respect that man! Look at that swing arm. If one of those were available I would put one on mine for sure.

My comment about the chain drive was neither for it or against it, I just noticed it....
