Avoid Progressive Insurance with the Spyder

Whatever the company, make sure you have uninsured motorist coverage. It will pay dividends if you have the misfortune of having an accident, and the other party has paltry insurance limits.

After viewing all these posts you can see the premiums are all over the place. That being said, two people in the same area, same coverage, same age, same insurance company, same driving record, same car may not have the same premium. I think one of the criteria was missed and wasn't hit on here; of course maybe it was and I missed it. You want to take a guess and PM me? I don't want to start this thread up again.

credit rating is a huge factor for insurance rates, one of the first things looked at.

The answer to my question is: The length of time you've been with an insurance co.

My gf switched from Allstate to State Farm for her car insurance late last year. I have State Farm and she thought she would be paying about what I do. Long story short, I pay $52 and she pays $100. I checked with my agent and she checked with hers; bottom line is, I've been with State Farm for 35 yrs. and that is the difference. My car is also more expensive.

To get back on topic. I pay $18/month for the spyder, which means absolutely nothing to you or anyone else without knowing my coverage, if you're trying to make a comparison.:joke:
