Average Speed?

So here's a fun one - forgive me if this has already been done:

Total miles on my Spyder: 8,431.7

Total hours on my Spyder: 238.1

8431.7 / 35.4 = 35.4

Average Speed = 35.4 MPH

I'm curious to see what others come in with. I would guess it doesn't vary more than +- 5mph.

Wow - very interesting results - I really didn't think they would vary that much. I personally hate riding the Spyder on the highways - so I keep on the backroads - but still often cruise at 70+.

Longer trips and highway riding obviously kick the numbers up - and city driving kick it down.
