• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Aux Lights help

I had the dealership install the Aux Lights and am convinced they are morons. Now, that is based on the assumption that the lights are supposed to perform similar to fog lights. Wide and Low.
Here are a couple pics. The first one is of just my low beams. The second is with the Aux lights. (I don't know why they are sideways)

The "Pillar of Light" is not a spaceship trying to beam me up.
That pillar goes up the entire 2 story house. Anyone in front of me is immediately and permanently blinded. (I tested it on my wife ;))
The dealership insists that they lights are installed correctly and that they only go in one way. They also say that they are pointed DOWN almost all the way. (They already adjusted once, it used to be worse)

Am I crazy?

Thanks
Ron

PS: How the HECK do I rotate the darn image. It's driving me crazy!!!

They are installed on the wrong side. IE left to right. If you swap them, the light beam will be turned 90 deg.

Which way are the lines in the front lenses running on yours as installed now? They should be vertical.

And so you don't get too upset with your dealer, there is no indication on the lamps or in the instructions as to which lamp assembly goes on which side. But they should have checked before returning the bike to you. Now they get to do the install a second time.

Thank you very much.
So a swap of the lights will fix the issue?
I do have an appointment today for this and another issue so I can get it resolved today! Yay.
Thanks again.

BTW: AWESOME color!! That blue really stands out!

Yes, swapping the lights will end up with them installed rotated 90deg to what they are now. Then they will need to be aimed but the light pattern will be a long bar running right to left and should be focused just below the headlight beam.

I am pretty pleased with how the color change came out myself. Thanks.

Upload the pic from your phone. Once it is on you computer, right click on the picture and click Edit... What ever program opens, use it to rotate the picture then save it. Then you can upload it to the site. Here you go:
