Does anyone know if the gas cap is vented (thru the cap itself) or if the tank has a separate vent?
I am thinking about a 2-3 gal aux fuel cell, and instead of removing the entire fuel tank to drill a new hole in the top for the aux fill line, I may simply put a small 90 degree fitting into the top of the cap. I will mount the cell on my home-made rack which also supports my Pelican 1550 case. The fuel would flow by gravity, upon opening a manual valve as the Spyder tanks nears empty.
I've had aux fuel cells on 3 different previous machines so I am an expert!
