• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Autonomy

Wonder why 2 places to do this??

Maybe to make it easier to locate to make changes? I don't own one so I can't be sure but maybe thru the "autonomy" area it changes ALL settings and in the "units" section, you can pick and choose what reads in metric vs imperial?:dontknow:

Curious...🤔

Perhaps it is so you can flash between them without changing your settings. On my RS I can flash to see temp and mph or RPM etc....

I’m not the best person to answer this question, but after trying to get my clock set I see where mileage can be set for kilometers or miles, and yours may be set for kilometers. cueman

Hi Lady s and Gents My first post on this forum. On my Ryker 900, it brings up the eco mode and sport mode. It did take some time for me to figure out the menus as I am kinda slow.
I did get some help on this forum a weeks ago about the washers for the windshield, I might have cracked the plastic without that info. So it has already helped me. So I am a 66 year man who decided I didn’t like falling over on 2 wheels so I bought the Ryker 900 In a little over a month I have put over 1500 miles on it riding up and down the Oregon coast, can't seem to stop because it is so much FUN!!!

Changing between modes (eco, eco off, sport, rally (for Rally edition)) is done right from the main screen by a long press of the bottom button.

Thankfully they did not bury that setting inside of a menu since it defaults to eco every time you start it back up.

Built the habit pretty quick of starting followed by a long press of that bottom left button to set her to Sport...

I will have to try to hold it longer to get to those modes, I really don't use sport mode mode yet as I have to do a lot of corners at 55 mph and prefer the vss controls. At lower speeds I think sport mode would be fun.

Funny how many misconceptions there are about what it means!

Autonomy means only one thing; miles until empty (aka out of fuel). It is a funny word for that, I know.

It does not function very accurately, as it reads a certain amount of miles after a fuel up (a low number), which remains quite flat for quite a while, then when you really start running low on fuel, it drops. It should start out high, then drop in a linear fashion.
