August Weather News

Got back yesterday from 26 days on the road. Pegasus1300 is correct that the thunderstorms are very pretty coming down the canyons and mountains. Until they come across you. Then it can get a little dicey. Sat out one very wet stormy day in Spanish Fork, Utah.

This season has been very active with monsoon action all around Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. Yesterday's final day of riding was a short ride from Flagstaff to Mesa (not using the interstate). It was beautiful, crisp, and cool to start. Halfway, it was still sunny but had warmed up. Removed my heavy jacket. By the time I got home (11AM) it was 99 degrees and sunny. A couple hours later we were having monsoon rain and wind. Today will be a repeat of yesterday. The high will be 100 with thunderstorms moving through the area late afternoon and early evening. My Local Weather

:yes:.....Indiana has been hit with sunshine and lots of blue sky for a handful of days. Currently 64°F with a quarter moon in the sky. Get out there and enjoy some Spyder Ryde Time. The wife and I have enjoyed ryding all week long.

Just can't imagine doing anything else when the temperature gets above 60°F. Oh yeah, I have the 'honey do' list. I think that most can wait until a couple of rainy days.

Today 86°F for the high, no rain till Friday.
Low of 64°F.

The respite continues. Mid 80's for high. Early morning 70's. Cool breezes. We did a nice ride on Monday. Loved the cool breeze as we drove down the road. :yes:

Friday 8/26/22

hyea:..Friday has arrived and we had a little rain shower early this morning. Just enough to make it a little more humid for me. Currently 72°F with clouds.
Of course this is what Indiana Farmers have been waiting for to grow their crops.

High of 87°F with some clouds, low of 69°F.Enjoy your Day and Ryde if you're able.

Nothing new to report from the desert S.W. It will be a typical summer day. High of 103 and an overnight low of 85. The wind is non-existent and humidity is a bit high for us at 41%. Less that a 10% chance of monsoon activity later today. Planning for a little pool time this afternoon. Stay safe..... Jim

Today here in Vt. we got a thunder shower.


Temps in the 70's lows in the 50's low humidity. This weekend the temps will be in the 80's to near 90's and the humidity will be climbing up.

I am not complaining. ( off topic, before you know it snow will be here and I 'll be on the sled).

Indiana Weekend Weather News

This week went by so fast and I enjoyed every day. I was able to get out there and enjoy some Spyder Ryde Times. The wife said that she would like to Ryde 3 out of the 7 days. I enjoyed being able to take her for a ryde.

Saturday high 89°F with sunshine and humidity at 85+. Makes you just want to stay in AC. Low of 71°F with no rain in the forecast.

Sunday's high will be only 91°F with sunshine and a 35% chance of Rain. Low of 72°F.

OK. I ( off topic: I wont mention the Snow again,:roflblack The temps this weekend here in VT. will be in the 80's and 90's. I hope we have a nice fall weather here so I can put more miles on the spyder.

Monday 8/29/22

:chat:...Welcome to the Last Monday morning in August 2022. The wife and I enjoyed our weekend so much that it's hard to believe that today is Monday. Oh well we are both retired so that is a blessing.
Currently 74°F with 90% humidity.

Today only 91°F with lots of Sunshine.
Low at 73°F with no rain.
Sunday we received about an tenth of an inch of rain.
Maybe get some rain Tuesday early morning.

We are closing out the month of August under Excessive Heat Warnings here in the desert S.W. High temperatures through Wednesday are expected to get to 110-112 degrees. Nighttime lows will only get down to 90. The humidity is currently 30% and we have a 5 MPH breeze. The trike is hooked back up to the battery maintainer and is asleep under it's cover after enjoying a summer tour to the Pacific N.W earlier this month. Anxious for the cooler weather that Fall brings to the desert. Meanwhile, just have to make do and splash around in the pool. Stay safe..... Jim

Well folks the month of August is going to be history. As always each day is a great time to enjoy your life. Remember to take some extra time and give thanks for your many blessings. God's gift to you is a 'special love'

Currently 64°F with 90% humidity. You can see the corn and beans growing. A lot of my trees are starting to drop the leaves. The grass is starting to turn brown.

High today will be 84°F with sunshine and lots of humidity. Low of 62°F with no rain in the forecast.
