• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Audio Issue

Last week I had to reset some of my audio settings because they went back to the default settings. I thought this was because I recently had my 3,000 mile check-up and they got changed. My settings were fine all last week as I rode everyday to work. Over the weekend I did not ride it and this morning my settings are back to the default. Primarily the treble, bass and the automatic volume control. Has anyone heard of this problem before? I have a 2014 RT.

Yep, mine does it nearly every time I don't wait for nanny to phone home and press the mode button before starting. IE if I start before she is ready....she looses her mind.

When you turn the ignition key off and then turn it back on. For example when forgetting to set the parking brake, The gauge cluster will revert to default for some or all audio settings. This will happen to all Spyder models with a radio 2010 to 2014. No one has reported if it has been fixed or not for 2015. In the attached video see the setting to display the radio on the main screen disappears.

I don't have it do that reset very often but lately more often as my battery is getting weak and needs to be replaced. If I park and leave the key on for say 5 minutes or so, then hit the starter, it will reset those settings. Again before I did not see this reset issue very often other than doing the things explained by others.

So if you are not doing those things and the radio is resetting a lot, might check you battery voltage.

Thanks, Everyone. At least I know there is a reason why it is happening.
