• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Audio connector right side of fuel tank?

I've checked the service manual and can't find the purpose for the audio looking connector near what appears to be 2 sensors on the right side of the fuel tank on a 2015 RT. Anyone know what this is?RightSideConn.jpg

GPS

The cable you have pictured is the GPS harness between the radio and the Cradle for mounting your GPS. The three ends that are capped off aren't used. The one plugged is is the audio from the GPS to the radio.

They are the cables for the Garmin 590. I rerouted the capped USB connector up and out at the right dash speaker. I now only have to run a short cable from it and into my tank bag to charge my iPhone.

Yep!

I have an 2016 RTS, which does not come with the CB. I bought an extension cord at Radio Shack (probably need Amazon now) 1/8" male to 1/8" male, routed it up and out of the rectangular pop-out on the handlebars. Drilled a hole and used a rubber grommet. Plug it into my iPhone for GPS and Amazon Prime Music! I then also took out the analog gauges (that data shows up on CD automatically if you do), and installed nice aluminum dual USB on one side and a cigarette lighter on the other for a Garmin (bad weather GPS). Got them from an advertiser on this sites main page. Pretty easy routing included wires to battery in front. I can keep iPhone topped off, plug in my Sena BT (or wifes) if running low, etc. Nice to have power up front. Just some ideas!

Does anyone know if the 2014 RT-S has this same audio type plug? And if so, where it's located?
Thanks!
