There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hi everyone

I have recently changed out my OEM speakers and now want to add some sort of amplifier. Can anyone tell me where the radio module is located and what type if connectors it has in order to add an amplifier to the system?

under the back right passenger hand rail. That is where I had to plug in the cable to integrate my bluetooth adapter with the audio system.

Thanks for the responce but that's not what I am looking to do. I am trying to add an amplifier to boost the volume on the existing speakers

I understand, but I believe that the module I plugged into was the radio module and not just an access port. square box held in place by 4 screws, has an antenna cable coming out of it that connects to the radio antenna.

There are no line level outputs from the radio module. You'll have to use an amplifier with speaker inputs. You can put the amp anywhere between the radio and speakers by splicing it into the speaker wires wherever works for you. There's not a lot of room under the tupperware. You may have to put it into the trunk or frunk.

Thanks for the info. Based on what you're saying do you know where I can access the four speaker wires in the same location? It would be easy to tap into four of them if I can source them all in the same spot.

Right off the bat I would say the most accessible location is at the audio unit under the passenger seat right side.

to get to the radio/audio unit, you must remove the right side passenger hand rail (grab bar). All the wires are threaded thru areas covered by body panels.
