• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Attention Fabricators

With regard for the passenger on the F3, an adjustable footrest would be a great option. The F3T is being billed as road trip ready. While the UFit System adjusts for the driver's comfort, the passenger is restricted to what is dealt to them. Within 5 minutes on a test drive this year, my wife knew it was not going to work for her with the position of the pegs. I'm sure she is not the only one.

One of the banes of cycling. Passenger seating is usually delegated to second class or economy class--or worse. I am guessing not much testing goes on in the area of passenger comfort.

I'm not sure if BRP is considering the F3 platform as a serious touring rig. If that were the case: they'd have set it up with more adjustability for the navigator's perch... :dontknow:

Having said this; it would be nice if some of our more creative members could work up a solution to this issue!

With the addition of the F3T and the Limited version of it coming in 2017, it is being packaged with abilities to tow a trailer along with a supportive backrest and top case, heated hand grips and floorboards.
It is my hope a fabricator will design a solution to this as well.
