• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Would like to make the ride. I'm a little confused :hun: about the location of the Bob Evans you are talking about. A Google search shows a Bob Evans at 43700 Hwy 27 in Davenport. A further search tells me that Bob Evans is mentioned four times in the I-4/US27 interchange area. It's a 71.5 mile ride from Melbourne to the Bob Evans in Davenport, I'm an early riser, but would like a cupa :coffee:before getting back on the road. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

Going west on I4 and jumping off at US 27, continue around the circle, 1 light, and still going South, on your right about 1/4 mile is Bob Evans. Hope this helps.
 
Ride to Lake Placid

Thanks a bunch, I'm not at all familiar with the area. Small town boy who needs GPS to find Florida Mall and still misses it when the wife says she knows how to get there. Will try to make it to Bob Evans for Breakfast. I'm usually a lone wolf rider, but want to meet some Spyder Lovers. If the weather is decent, count me in. I can dress for cold, but hate wet and cold, won't start if it's raining.

Yeochief, if you want to meet us at the Bob Evans at I-4 & US-27 your looking at about 70 miles via 520,528, {417 toll }, I-4 to US 27 south.Exit #55 off I-4 Take 27 south Bob Evans set's on the right just after you come back over bridge. Let us know if your planning on meeting us there. When we leave Bob Evans we'll be stopping half way between I-4 and Lake Placid hope this helps. John

Still as new to the Forum and how it works as I am to my new Spyder. Both still "strange" to me. Since I live in Lake Placid, I will have the shortest ride to the meeting place. Hope to see and meet many fellow Spyder folks. I didn't realize how many there were.
Wonder why the word Spyder shows up as a mis-spelled word?

I'm riding in spirit only with you guy's. I'm down with a broke ankle, non wieght bearing for 3-4 months. I am just happy to see all of the Spyder Riders here in South Florida popping up. I will follow the thread and wish you guy's safe and happy trails. Can't wait to join ya come summer time....Cole369
