• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

AT-1 filter question

I have a 2013 RT limited and just receive an AT-1 filer from JT. Was wondering how long it should take to install it?

Thx,
Dave

Let's see..!!

if it is the AF-1 the installatuon is a snap should take about 15 min. Bad news is the length of time it takes to get the stock airbox out. This will depend on your abilities. Instructions are clear and a shop manual can come in handy...

Doing mine right now................

I've spent 3 hours taking out the darn (cleaned up) BRP air box. It's a real piece of work to get out. Here's hoping I can put the Spyder back together. JT recommends taking the frunk off, which I did. Hope that's not a mistake when I put it back together tomorrow, or whenever.

After getting the air box out, it's pretty straight forward and only takes about 15 minutes to put the AF-1 in. Only thing I had to go get was Red RTV adhesive. Thought I had some from when I put the Kewlmetal one on my GS but either gave or threw it away.

After getting the AF-1 on, I have the issue of putting everything back together. Ugh!!!!! How many pieces will I have left over and need to find a place to put.

Oh yah, I forgot. I also need to figure out where the resonator is and how to remove it.

Jim
