Asking for tips and tricks for BRP Signature Light Kit installation 2015 F3

In reading the installation instructions for BRP signature light kit and instructions for Signatue Light 2015 adapter kit - I am confused on adapter kit wiring (yes I am easily confused) - and would appreciate your help and expertise.

1. Adapter Kit: Page three covers connection of three wires: red, violet and black - well, I physically only see two wires (red/black) on supplied connector harness. However they did supply three heat shrink/solder connectors and picture shows person holding a three wire connector. Light Mating connector to this harness also only has two wires.
So maybe just instructions are wrong?

2. It doesn't seem necessary to remove frunk hood nor battery??????

Also any tips on installation/drilling/cutting/routing appreciated in advance.

I mounted the light but have not wired it in be cause of how it tells you to break into your wiring harness. Seems like there should be a better place to pick up power such as your headlights or marker lights or something.

I did not take off my frunk lid nor unhook the battery. It shows using a step bit to drill the hole in the body which was easy. Just use a regular bit to drill the hole in the frunk. If you use a step bit to go to .5 inches the tip will get into your frunk. Don't ask me how I know.

After drilling the frunk just use a pair of side cuts to cut the plastic up to the hole. You are just providing a route for the light wire to go under your frunk.

Thank you - great tips - My take on the wiring harness is that there is switched aux power (15 watts) wiring taped together already in harness bundle marked with white tape (like the one under left side access panel and under seat). I have read where a few people have used these wires for a 12V outlet and or usb socket for in their frunk.

I took the hood off made it easier to drill the hole. I could see if the drill was going to hit the front of the painted nose) drilling from inside drunk to out side drunk. Step drills are easier to use to get a clean round hole (after taking the liner out).
Use small scissors to unwrap the auxiliary wires (sharp blades tend to cut in to the insulation of the wire easily)
There are only 2 wires to connect with a spare heat shrink connector.
I did not need to take the battery out to route the wire from the module to the aux wires.
My kit only has 2 wires. Join the 2 black wires. Join the violet and red wire together ie 4 ends 2 complete wires.

Great advice - much appreciated - thank you

How did it turn out?

How did the wiring for the light kit turn out? Also, any pics? I may go this route due to the brightness of the kit and the look.

I decided that the project was beyond my pea brain and sold light kit plus adapter cable kit, at a reduced price, to a fellow Sypderlover: SpyderCodes.
