• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

At Spyderfest last year there were Armadillos in the road. Almost as many armadillos as there are raccoons in Michigan. How is the armadillo population in the Springfield/Ozark area. Curious mides are inquiring. Thanks.

Armadillos have been spotted as far north as the MO river. I have seen several over the last couple of years. Most likely they are more numerous down in southern MO.

One year at Daytona Bike Week I was cruising in a rental car just off the bottom of Main Street in N. Halifax Av. I ran into a bloody huge armadillo
and it took out the drivers side headlamp and neatly ripped off the exhaust system.....and it walked off!! I had to have a new rental car!!

Don't taste like chicken

I have eaten this critter and it tastes like turkey. I have since learned that one can get leprosy from eating this critter.:yikes:

They are known to carry leprosy and the Chagas Disease. And you can get leprosy from eating the meat or handling the animal. Did you know that rabbits and mice can also transmit leprosy?

:yikes::yikes: mice can also transmit leprosy. I'm getting off this laptop right now and never using a mice again.:yes:

I believe that hitting a skunk can be somewhat worse than hitting an armadillo. The odor will hang on for a month or so. :roflblack:

You may end up getting more damage with the armadillo.
