• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Argh! Looks like I'm going to need a security system installed.

They will continue to break as they are a faulty design. I don't have the cowl anymore, but something as simple as velcro (industrial strength) will work...you have enough downward pressure on the cowl when you're riding...

I purchased one cowl for the second :spyder2:. Two of the rubberbands broke within a month. At that time they would not even sell me a replacement. I note that they are now available without haveing to purchase another cowl.

Very unhappy with that farkle. Would not buy another if I had an RS.

Use industrial strength velcro...it works just fine...far better than the breaking rubber pieces. I used velcro until I got rid of the cowl all together when I got the comfort seat...

Derek,
If there's a sliver lining in the cloud; it's that at least your neighbors can still be considered "trustworthy"...
Too bad about the cowling though... :gaah:
