• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm leaving on Monday on a 10 day mission trip to Guatemala. Deb's trying to find out why her toe hurts so bad (going on a month now). Her's and the doctor's first thought was gout then the doctor changed the diagnosis to potentially an infection in the joint but now they are thinking stress fracture. Waiting for xrays and a nuclear bone scan appt. to get a better idea... Its tough getting old. :gaah:


Deb has been talking about getting a motorcycle if she gets a job that she applied for about 60 miles from our place. Other than that, no plans or dreams of bikes or Spyders.

We are still having thoughts about attending Lamont's BBQ to visit with many good friends made possible by the CanAm Spyder.

It would be great to see you guys at the BBQ! Hope Deb gets that toe fixed. Had the same kind of thing when I jammed my big toe one time. Took a long time to heal, but I never did go to the doctor so Deb is smarter than I.

I was researching batteries, to see how long they should last as mine is 3 years old and I have a gift certificate to use before it expires, and i came across a thread where Lamont was talking about the battery he got a Utopia, I checked on some of the people in that thread, Tonga, BjT & spyderwoman and it was interesting and led me to this thread from last year. Wow Bob Denman , who'd of thunk is now :firstplace:. Nancystoy is second, I miss reading FireFly's posts. & BjT (who I don't know) has not been on in quite a while.:popcorn:
