There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Are these good floor boards?

So, I have found for long rides I don't like keeping my feet in the same place and I'm thinking of adding floor boards. Does anyone have these? Are they okay??

what do they look like on bike send pics so we can see im looking for some please....welcome

Spacing between brake pedal and floorboard arm looks really close - either bad camera angle or one would need skinny feet.:dontknow:

They are made by

My understanding is that they are made by the same people that make the OEM parts, but they are doing this on their own. Apparently, with the break, there is an OEM part that is like that, which you can add on and then add the floorboards to match.

Nice find. I like the idea of having both the peg in the original position and a floorboard. When city riding, I would prefer to keep my foot on the pegs hovering over the brake. If you have a hand brake, check to make sure you can still use these.

I like the idea too of keeping original peg location for braking. I have a concern that the brake pedal may hit the floor board extension under hard braking though. I see a notch but just can't tell if it will allow the brake to pass completely past it.

I also am very unsure that the original peg bracket can handle the amount of torque that is placed on it by what appears to be about a 14 inch lever. I don't see any support under the front of the floorboard although it just may not be visable. They will likely be fine for a foot rest, but what if someone uses them as a step to get on?

They look interesting---- just make sure and read the fine print:

Best floorboard available with perfect finish, fit and angle for maximum riding comfort even when aggressively riding (aggressive cornering with feet on floorboards is not recommended and may feel awkward).

They do look very much like the other OEM billet parts -- but remember that people will say anything on Ebay to make a sale.

Will be interesting to see how they work when someone gets a set!

From the picture it seems like the top of the floorboards line up with the bottom of the original brackets. I went down to the garage and measured. That is about 3 1/2 inches. Kinda tight for my clown feet. :joke:

I hope the floorboard is out and away from that pedal, but by the first pic they look like they come strait out.

It sounds like doc is fixin to install a set so we will have to ask him and or the seller. I would rather hear it from doc.

I agree that they dont seem fit to use to step on, at least not someone of my considerable girth, just for resting your feet.

I am hoping Doc bought them and is going to post pictures along with a review on how they work. It seems like a fairly decent concept, but I have the same questions as others about the placement and durability. I also wonder if the back of my leg would actually be resting against the normal positioned foot peg, due to the angle of the pictures there does not seem to be much clearance there.

Who to contact for the boards.

I talked to the guy. If you want them or have questions, here's the info. I think I'll wait to get a review here though because they aren't cheap!

call Mark at Drysdale Prec. 905-899-4725. Thanks
