• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are there Black Colored Variations?

I know the 2022 rykers come in black, but I see images from the factory of the bike in a matte black but others in more of a shiny or glossy black. Is this just the photography or are there variations of black?

The two panels next to the headlights can come in a glossy black while the rest is flat. Maybe there's a flat black version now?
Can you post some pictures?

Okay, thanks. I see now what I was looking at. Those two panels made it appear the whole bike was glossy. I guess the panels don’t come in a flat or matte black, lol.

Update: I see there are carbon black panels vs. intense black.

Standard choice is Intense Black, Adrenaline Red, or Yellow Shock. These are what are listed as "Classic" panels, and one set included with the price of the bike. All three are glossy, and molded-in-color. That is, if you scratch it, you won't see another color underneath.

All of the "Epic" or "Exclusive" panels are painted (and some add decals), and are an upcharge.

The rest of the plastic panels on the bike have a texture (called "graining" in the plastics biz) which is similar to a fine sand. This is what gives the rest of the bike the matte sheen. Only deviation from this are the large vertical side panels that your knees rest against. These have a raised "diamond" pattern, which aids in grip while riding.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Much!

Would that mean that since I’m paying extra for the Carbon Black panels, I will also get the intense black panels at no cost to take home with me because that color comes standard and is part of the regular price?

Should get them as well - if the price of the intense black ones is not deducted from the sales price.

I am getting the heritage IV panels with mine and the price of the classic ones is deducted from them - so I will only be getting the heritage ones.
