• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are there any mods to quieten the OEM Exhaust on a Rally?

If you bought your Rally new the exhaust that comes on it is federal compliant and aftermarket suppliers usually don't make systems that are any More quiet. Go listen to a standard 900 and if it is quieter than yours you could swap the muffler over to yours. Good luck on your quest.

I'll second the comments from Pegasus1300.
The stock muffler noise level is affected by cruising at 7,000 RPMs (sometimes 8,000)

:agree: X's 3 .... sometimes after-market suppliers will offer a " quieting baffle " for their mufflers, however even that will be louder than OEM stock ..... Mike

Here is an inexpensive mod you can try.

I use that mod all the time. Highly recommended. As far as the neighbors are concerned if they are complaining about the noise of your stock exhaust I bet it's not the exhaust they don't like. Probably the fact there is a bike on the block just irks some of them. Seen it many times.
