• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are the Upper and Lower Air Deflectors worth having on a 2023 Spyder?

On the 2023 & 2024 models there are upper and lower air deflectors, for a price, of course. I know I have something similar on my 2015 Spyder that came with the model I got. There is one on each side around the area where the windshield meets the upper body. Since they were on the Spyder when I bought it, I have no idea if they are effective.

Are these upper and lower air deflectors worth having on a 2023? On the Can Am site these are 139.00 add on.

Thanks in advance.

I have them on my '21 RT and think they're worth it.

Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-SAUTVS-Windshields-Windscreens-Accessories/dp/B09ZQR1B34 (Upper)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09ZYBZVB4/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (Lower)

I put the adjustable ones on my 21. When its cold out i have them closed and your in a air pocket and when its hot you open them and let the air thru. I think there great.

I've had them on my '20 RT for 3 years and ride year-round almost every weekend. I've ridden in temps from 18-102F.
That said, I can't say I've felt much relief (hot or cold) from the addition of the adjustable vanes. The biggest benefit to reduce the heat is cat removal.

We just did a 2500 mile trip which took in cold/wet/rain Oregon coast and HOT/DRY Northern California including 107f out in Knight's Ferry area. We did not take any rain gear and with them adjusted appropriately my legs remained quite dry in the rain

The answer from us is, YES they are very nice to have

YES! I rode for a year with the standard, non-adjustable ones on my 22 RTL. I installed the SAUTVS ones I got from Amazon (mentioned above) and noticed a lot more air flow when open. It was one of the best upgrades I've done so far.
