• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are Spyders becoming popular, or not?

Compared to the sales volume of other States, Utah is fairly low. And we have lost a couple of dealers in the last year or so. Still, I do see more Spyder riders now than in the past. I don't know how many are in the State compared to tourists just passing thru.

But the dealer here in Draper, UT seemed to sell through their allocations of RT Ltd's and Sea to Sky's pretty quickly this year. The 2021 RT Ltd thst I traded in sold in a matter of a few weeks. Rykers seem to be a bit slower to move, but I think that's because Ryker sales probably do better in large urban areas.

They have one 2026 F3-T, one 2026 Canyon, and about Four Rykers left, two of which are 2025's. Everything else has sold out, I think I got the last 2026 Sea to Sky back in the late Spring.

I see a variety of Spyders here in the Salt Lake Valley, many of which are V-twins. I do see a few late model RT Ltd's and Sea to Sky's driving around occasionally. I can't say I have ever seen a Ryker in the wild though, but I don't live in the Salt Lake Metro area, so that might be why. I've seen maybe one Slingshot and a few Vaanderhalls at a car meet. I see quite a few Harley Tri-Glides, but that's to be expected I suppose.

Don't know about Humboldt County, but Bauer Powersports (530) 338-2129, in Shasta County works on spyders. He left a local dealer ship as a lead mechanic and opened his own busines. It's about a weeks wait to get anything worked on but he's well worth the wait if you need a good and trusted mechanic.
