The Carver was first, I saw it in Europe last year and it is already available over there. They bought technology from Carver to do this. I think the Carvers are quite a bit more $$$.

For 18 - 23K that is a deal.

I question if it will ever hit market. I've seen things like this for years--- and somehow they never quite make it to market.

Tell you what. Given that will be far cheaper than the Carver, it may stand a chance to be in my garage alongside my Spyder. It would earn me the "weirdest guy in the neighborhood" label, but dam that looks like a whole different kind of fun.

The one problem with vehicles with one skinny front wheel/tire and two rear tires is braking distance. Up to 70% of a vehicles stopping power is on the front wheels. This vehicle will be like all the other "regular" styled trikes....it won't be able to stop safely from highway speeds.

The Venture One no longer exists. It is called the Persu Hybrid and can be seen at www.flytheroad.com. It is anyone's guess as to whenif it goes into production.
