• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone recognize this part?

I was walking into the garage today and saw this ( looks like a spring clip) on the floor. I have had the RT apart adding things but do not remember seeing anything like this. Not sure if it is from the Spyder or not. Thought I would ask if any of you might know if it is or is not a part off my RT since I am fairly new to this machine.
Thanks,
Jerry

Mirror retaining clip

That looks like one of the retaining clips off of the inside of the mirror.

I will with next pic. It's a small spring clip about 1 1/2 inches long. Thanks for looking. I will try to get better pics and dimensions when I get home.

Its not the mirror clip..Mirror clip is round at one end..Just checked my spare parts..Have to wait till the pics get posted..

I had both sides from front to back off. Had rear plastic off to get to lights, headlights out to add led bulbs (and yes, they do twist in like auto lights the have plastic cover that snaps over) no retaining clip. Frunk stayed on, added sway bar, fenders off for LED lights added, Lamonster highway pegs added. Like I say, I don't remember seeing the part when taking it apart. I have no idea where it could have come from. Totally Stumped. Had nothing else out working on it.

extra parts

I appreciate everyone that looked. I guess it's not something important on the RT or someone would have recognized it. Now I have to figure out where it could have come from. :dontknow:

You did a lot of work on your Spyder all at the same time.
Could that clip be part of the packaging for one of your parts ? Some kind of spring clip that kept a part mounted to the shipping container ?
