• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone put a Wrap on matte black? Successful or not?

I exchanged text with the Wrap My Spyder folks. I asked if adding their Daytona Stripes to my matte black F3T would ruin the matte finish, or if there would be a problem with the stripes adhering to the paint. They told me that many people use their products on matte surfaces, However, they couldn't 100% guarantee I wouldn't have problems on matte paint. They suggested that I ask members of this forum if anyone has had experience using their product on matte surfaces. Anyone???

I put a full frunk wrap on my matt black F3S with no problem. Just follow the directions from Wrap My Spyder. I don't plan to remove it, so I don't know what that might do to the matt surface below. Maybe someone else has done so.

If the wrap, for any reason, is removed, the matte finish, will look like a "wetlook" matte finish, this is irreversible, but there is no issue, there is always matte wrap foil, any color, any print.
Make the bike yours, worry later...
