• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone on this?

Oh la la, what a difference those tires make. Smooth ride, awesome handling, no problem on wet pavement. 14 pounds front 18 In the back. I will see after a few rides if tires pressure need to be adjusted. I had Michelin on my RTS 2011, but I think those are better and cost less.

keep us posted. Abbot Ryder, I am on vacation all next week. If you or anybody else in Maine is free next week for Ryde let me know. Bruce

I am leaving for Wyoming on June 1. Back a week later. It's snowing right now in Wyoming. Hopefully weather will change next week.

Good morning, the trip went fairly well. I left Saturday morning June 1 at 4.30 am. 37 degrees. Rode to Youngstown Ohio the first day, and I had to stop because of heavy downpour. Next day just before Chicago I stop for fuel and I had 2 messages on my phone. My wife said my sister in law had passed during the day. So I call my nephew and told me no funeral before Saturday the 8. So I made the decision to continue my trip tp Wyoming to visit Arthur. Monday afternoon Arthur came and met me at mile marker 175. We rode to Sturgis and rode a Canyon do not remember the name but beautiful and had to stop because of hail. Next to Deadwood and rode Spearfish canyon awesome. Then to the ranch. Next morning 8.00am Arthur rode with me to Rapid City and then on my way home. I made it Thursday night June 6. Total miles 4520 round trip in 6 days. Than next day drove to Canada for a Saturday funeral. The bike ran good no issue. The new Vredestein tires are awesome. Average day 750 miles per day.

Sorry to hear about your sister in law . I hope everything is good with Arthur. Sounds like one heck of a ride. The hail now that's got to hurt if you have any skin showing. Glad to hear your back home safe and sound. Thanks for the tire report I had been wondering about that tire, I may have to change tires in the fall or spring so it looks like that is the tire I will go with also.

This is the Hooded Claw from Waterville. I've been on here awhile but am much more a reader of posts than a poster. Its good to see there are other Spyder folks from Maine on SL.

Nelson, sounds like you had a whirlwind of a trip. Hope to see you soon. Hooded claw, there are a few Spyders not to far from you. Bruce
