There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Anyone know where to get a 2020+ RT trunk lid latching pad?

Looking to see if anyone has a good idea where to get a pad that will stick to the truck on 20+ RTs. I have to slam the lid down to get it to latch and I don't want to scratch the surface, so I was thinking of a pad that stuck to the lid but is slick on top and UV resistant. Any ideas out there? Thanks

I don’t recommend slamming the lid. I close mine gently and then firmly push down the rear edge so the latch engages.

Make sure the pins are aligned correctly, if not, adjust them. That latch base is plastic, slamming the lid will evenually break it.

Yes. I think the best advice would be to adjust the locking mechanism so you don't need to slam the lid.
It's pretty easy to do.
Here's a video that should help:

Well I misspoke by using the word slam. I close the lid and then give the top a wack with the palm of my hand. I’ll try pushing in the button but I still have to push down on the lid. I was thinking over time it will probably damage the finish with road grit. So I was looking for a pad to protect the finish. Thanks for all your advice.
