• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone know about..

Got the survey yesterday. Probably will look into it. BRP has called a few times in the past on surveys but has always revealed who they were.

There's nothing wrong with competition. Its what our economy and America is all about. If HD were the only motorcycle on the road the market would get stale. Its like a Muslim fashion show: hey, nice burqua!

This will only make our beloved Spyder a better product. But I rejoice to see the competition.

I toss all surveys. This one included that don't identify the source or purpose.
Same on registration cards. Personal info is none of their business.

One of the Surveys i did was done over the phone ; At no point did they ask ANY personal information! Basely the questions were; If i [me] were to build a 3 wheel Motorcycle what would i want in it. I.E. drivetrain / engine etc.
P/S If your worried about personal information,
Just click your name on Google you'll be shocked if you dig deep enough as to the personal information they have on everybody :yikes:

survey

I got the mail survey but not the phone call. It was mailed from Niagra Falls, NY. BRP is the closest manufacturer to that location. Seems like a lot of secrecy over nothing. I'm sure the manufacturers have some idea of what the other guy is up to. The questions I was asked zeroed in on the Spyder. I was told by a Harley rider I met this weekend that HD is now only making their trikes on special order from the dealer so maybe they aren't too popular. I have my doubts about another manufacturer coming out with something like the Spyder. Unless they can get the younger guys interested in it it wouldn't be a big money maker for them. I've ridden mostly Honda's since 1962 and would love to see a Honda as a reverse trike but if the Survey is from BRP with the intent to make a better bike then I can live with that.

It's a commie plot! URAL is going to market a reverse trike with three wheel drive and dominate the world market, driving Canada into bankruptcy...:yikes:

That's the kind of logic I like to see!

I did recieve a request for survey via e-mail. The offer is $50 for doing the survey. They say about 1/2 hour.....
As I see it, I am a loyal customer, but it is only a good thing to have competition. If any other company has a similar machine BRP would probably do EVEN MORE to keep us happy. Believe me, I have no problems with what they are doing now. If it IS brp...then Kudos to them for wanting to know what we think and want[/QUOTE]
