• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone know about..

Got the card ,did the survey today.

But a few days ago i got a phone call from a different Survey company,
asked a lot of questions on what i would like in a 3 wheel motorcycle.
And i in turn asked him more questions than he asked me.;) We talked for over an half hour. I could of talked much longer he was in no hurry. [wouldn't tell who he was working for] In parting i slipped in if your working for Honda tell them if they come out with a reverse trike they'll sell a ton of them.
He said I'll tell them.;)??

;)??

That was funny. Honda's still suffering from two black eyes after the "we can hurt your kids with our three wheeler ATV's". Their not to ready to get back into that game.

I got the card, went to the site, started answering,,,realized just too many questions,, closed the page and went back to my business. Guess I won't get the $250.

They confirmed for me that it was part of a Honda marketing survey. The survey is posted on the "other" forum, that is how they got our phone number to call.

I'm too cheap to throw away a chance at some free money... I went through it as best I could and it really didn't take more than 15 minutes to complete... So where's my 500 bucks???

Although it seemed too long, I thought it showed someone giving some real thought to market research. That's refreshing!

Anybody that wants that much info from/about me without me knowing who they really are and what is will be used for..... no way!

It suggests to me that someone is interested in having some answers with respect to THIS market. My question would be: "Why are they asking"? None of us are really aware of how successful BRP has been with the spyder. We have speculated on this board, but we don't know for sure.

My thoughts are that BRP has enjoyed a modicum of success with their sales. This has caught the eye of some one else. They are interested in exploring this market.

If my assumption may be true, then I like it. It suggests to me that the spyder will be around for an awfully long time. I hope I'm right.

I took the survey and my thought is that it was initiated by BRP. I think they realized that they don't know their customer and this would let them know who we are and what we want. The questions about what kind of promotion would entice you to buy and what type of option packages you might want really sounded like it was coming from BRP.

If it is BRP I hope they realize that we aren't a bunch of 20 and 30 somethings that have purchased Spyders.

I'm in and they can call me when I win the $500

I'm wondering if this is targeting Spyder owners or if it's going out to all motorcycle owners. Seemed like most of the questions were about why I bought what I bought, and what I would like to see done differently.

:agree: I got the lengthy survey, read it and shredded it. It's none of their- whoever THEY are - business. They wanted too much info as far as I'm concerned!!

:dontknow:
You must have gotten a different survey mine was over the phone.
And i wasn't going to shred my phone, But sometimes i would like to.:roflblack:

Regarrless what the lawyers said, It wasn't Honda's fault kids got hurt.
It was the PARENTS fault. My sons rode the original Big Reds till they wore
them out, a little bump now and than yes, And believe me they rode them a lot, we have 1300 ac . But I Made sure they wore the proper riding gear all the time. And no riding paved roads, Like all the safety stickers say.

My survey was over the phone too! I didn't mind answering their questions. They started off saying they new I was a Spyder owner and asked if I'd take a short survey, There were very few personal questions asked. I figure if I took the survey and it dealt with the likes and dislikes of my Spyder compared to trikes, it might end up benefiting a future consumer. I think I've test driven every trike conversion kit and every bike used with one there is. They were polite and it took under 10 minutes.
