• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone installed this? "Eastern Beaver Controller"

I've had the Eastern Beaver PC-8 for 4 years now, 6 switched circuits, 2 unswitched, no complaints.

I have used the Eastern Beaver 3CS on two Spyders now...after building my own for another Spyder. The Eastern Beaver equipment is tops! Look at their ready-made wiring harnesses, too. I no longer fashion my own wire runs if I can get what I need from Eastern Beaver. Good stuff all the way around, and delivered from Japan faster than you can get stuff from the US sometimes.

Yup, got one on Queen B's Spyder. Here's a pic of the install.

I just installed one and the only thing I have running on it is my gps.

The ready made wire harness was not what I expected. I bought the longest one, 60 inches I believe, and it was not long enough to install the PC-8 in the forward compartment where I wanted it. The only place that it would fit other than that would be under the seat and then it would be too long. I may have misunderstood something in there but I installed it in the forward compartment in front of the radiator reservoir and just added length to make the battery leads reach the battery which was about 10 inches or so. I mounted the relay under the seat forward of the gas fill. It all seems to be fine but I was disappointed that I had to splice into what was a very well made harness.
