• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone have Dynojet Power Vision results for comparison?

Yes its true you can adjust all those things .

Download the free PCX software and a tune and see for yourself.

Cant wait for my next day I can get the Spyder out with the new tune..

The PCX software is pretty cool. I just got my ECU back from Dynojet. I had to send it in because it would not read the file. Dynojet was great to work with! They provided a call tag and over night shipping both ways. Got it back and am able to flash it with the stock file and the upgrade file. Will let you know when I get some time and warmer weather on the results.

Well weather finally was nice and took out the Spyder with the new Tune.

I find it much smoother and was in 5th gear running over 75 MPH . The Spyder gets stronger in the Higher RPM range. It ran perfect.

Now I cannot compared it to the Monster Tune, but for something the DIY person can do at home I was very happy.

Hope to get at least one more ride in this week before the wet cold weather returns this week.

We all have do to a measuring test drive in the 3rd gear. Start at 37 mph with flying start and measuring times from 50 to 75 mph. Compare the Times.

My times with MaptunerX on my F3 2017 third gear from 60 to 140 km / h (37 - 87 mph). Stock Retracted stage 1. Stage 2 (K & N, Straight Shot ESD) not yet retracted.

First measurement
Default: 7:01 seconds
Stage 1: 6:22 seconds
Stage 2: 6:13 seconds

Second measurement (slightly uphill)
Default: 7:07 seconds
Stage 1: 7:04 seconds
Stage 2: 6:20 seconds

80 - 120 km / h (50 to 75 mph) in seconds with a flying start

Default: 03:25
Stage 2: 02:29

What method of clocking are you using? This would be pretty hard to be accurate without an accelerator of some kind to do the measurements.

Thanks for posting, but I really don't think that's going to be very accurate.... especially when you're talking less than 1 second difference between your runs.
Really would need to go to a track or use an accelerometer. There's some apps out now but I'm not sure how accurate they are.
What model Spyder is this?

I have a F3-S 2017. I have no other way to "measure". The apps that are there are also not very accurate. Under optimal GPS conditions - GPS measurement at least 100 times in the second - this would be a bit more accurate. My smartphone can not do that.

has anybody done a top speed run with the dynojet setup...I want to know did dynojet remove the speed limiter......I havent had anybody discuss this...

Just received this reply back from Dynojet:

Currently we only offer 1 map for each device, stock improved. In the future you will see us develop more tunes for the PV3 and probably NOT the PCV. I would suggest you using the PV3 for this vehicle.

Thanks for the inquiry. If you have any more questions please let us know. Thanks.

Considering ordering the Power Vision 4, app based tuner.

I sent some questions to DynoJet, but wanted to ask if anyone here has used one.

I have a PV4 on order from Fuel Moto.
Hopefully, I'll have a few good days to test this winter, but most of my tuning will probably come next spring.
I'll post my impressions when I get to try it out.

Well, I've done a few rides with the PV4.
I started with a canned Dynojet tune, collected some logs and sent them to Fuel Moto.
The canned tune made a noticeable difference in power and throttle response.
Fuel Moto quickly sent me a modified tune, which improved things a bit more.
I also modified the warmup and idle settings with BUDS, to lower the fast idle and curb idle a bit. I didn't like the aggressive rev and slow recovery from fast idle. It's much nicer now.

I'll probably go through another tune once the weather warms up, and I'll start looking into hardware mods this summer.
