Anyone have an RDL seat near Chattanooga I could sit on?

Thinking about getting a Russel Day Long seat for my 2020 F3L. Wondering if anyone near Chattanooga has one I could sit on and try out. After reading several posts, RDL seems to be the way to go. Looking at pictures, the rider's seat looks substantially better. I'm 250lbs. It's hard to tell about the passanger seat. My wife is about 200 lbs. Can anyone comment on how much better the passenger seat is?

I have had one on my 2014 Goldwing for five years and absolutely love it. Wife and I did a cross country run of 9,181 miles and it worked just great. They are pricey, but if you do allot of touring you won't regret getting it. Looking to put one on our 2020 RTL.

The passenger seat can be done exactly the same way as the front seat, chokeslam. They are custom built to your height, weight and preferred seating position. They are not a one size fits all like Ultimate, Mustang etc, so sitting on one made for someone else is not really advantageous.

You provide RDL with photos of you and your passenger on your stock seat and RDL does the rest, and guarantees all day comfort (if not, you send it back and they will adjust it). It is predominantly the wings providing support under your outer thighs, and the heavy duty “suspension” that makes the difference.

One downside is that you have to send your stock seat in for them to modify. Many get around this by sourcing a cheaper, older, second hand seat to send, meaning you can keep your OEM seat, and put it back on if you upgrade your F3, and transfer your RDL to the new F3.
