Anyone have a Roadkrome backrest?

I am thinking of getting this backrest, any input would be appreciated.

I have the backrest and the rack. Wasn't hard to put on and the wife likes it.The only thing is when I bought mine they would only sell through their dealer network. I had to go through the local harley dealer. At first they said they didn't sell roadkrome. I had to proven they were listed as a dealer for them. Once that was done they ordered it for me. I think on Roadkrome's home page you look up the closest dealer to you and go and order it. Anyway that is what I did

I looked at this one but they sell the mounting bracket separately for another $90. Might as well buy the BRP version. Don't understand why they don't make one with the mounting hardware...oh wait a minute then we would save money...silly me.

I have the backrest and the rack. Cost was less than the BRP sport rack and backrest. This was the driving factor in geting it. We've been happy with it. Here's a picture of it on my Spyder.


I ordered online from the exact website you listed. No problems at all. My dealer installed everything.

I've had a RoadKrome backrest for almost 3 years, no complaints, the cost was about 1/3 of the BRP setup.
