• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone had this problem?

The other day I noticed that my radio no longer does volume control based on speed. Even when my iPod is attached I have to manually move volume up and down and of course never had to do that before. Did I do something or can I do something to turn this feature on or off? Or....are we talking radio replacement?

Have you had your bike hooked up for a BUDS diagnosis recently? It seems that BUDS takes everything back to the default setup...

There is a control funtion that you can set for this in your AUDIO MENU

Scroll through your AUDIO Menu Control Settings and you should see something for Auto Volume Control or something to that effect and you can set it to OFF, LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH then push SET to save it. I know on Teds Red Sled, every now and then, it will revert to OFF instead of where I usually keep it at HIGH.

Sorry, I don't have the Spyder in front of me, or I'd give you the exact words, but the above is pretty darn close ;)

Dave, mine does this also. When it happened the first time, I thought it was me. I was just getting use to all the controls and riding the spyder. When it happened again after I had a software update, I knew then it wasn't me. Glad I'm not the only one. ;)

That did the trick. Thanks for helping out!

Mine was shut off also after dealer installed 2013 changes to computer. I've been having so much fun with my new ride that I didn't notice the volume not increasing with speed. Easy to change using the mode switch and menus.
