There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Anyone had any success mounting F3 Hand Guards?

So I have read all the previous posts regarding hand guards on an F3 and was wondering if anyone has had any success mounting hand guards on an F3.

I am looking for something like what you would put on a motor cross bike.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I had great luck mounting handguards to my F3S a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, they don't work. Looks cool. but you can't see the mirrors.

I had handguards on my F3S for awhile, but tired of them. They do block vision from the OEM mirrors.

…was wondering if anyone has had any success mounting hand guards on an F3…

Thanks for posting this Campermac. Been thinking about this on & off for a little while now.
I like the look buuuuut…. it sounds adding them is like a ‘1step Forward, 3steps Back’ kind of scenario (unless you just gotta have them).

I haven’t come across anything (yet?) that my gloves (or… evasive maneuvers …thank you, tumbling 3in bolt, from a pickup truck) haven’t protected against, but… who knows. If I found some cool hand guards I liked, that might be an excuse to get those top cuff handlebar mirrors.

Thanks! to everyone who posted their pics n’ stories.
