There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Anyone fitted BRP footboards to a base 2014 RT?

As above,

Has anyone fitted the RT-S or RTL footboards to the base 2014 RT. If so, is it literally just the footboards and rubbers that's required, or are additional brackets/bolts needed?

I'm hoping its a case of remove the pegs and use the same fixings into the boards. Apparently the side castings etc changed in 2013 so the RTS and RTL footboards from a 2014 should be retro fittable to all 2013 model RT's also.

Thanks

If you have an SE6 (Semi auto), I don't think it should be a problem. But if you have an SM6 (foot shifter), it will not work because BRP did not accommodate the OEM floorboard for them.

Thanks, it would be for an SE6. I know they will fit, it's a case of what components will be required to fit them. ie just boards and rubbers, or is there associated bracketry and fixings?

Cheers

IMHO there are plenty of aftermarket FB's that are superior to BRP's especially Seal's. If have read many complaints about the BRP boards and few about Seals. Food for thought.

The Seals do indeed look good. But they don't seem to list one for the SE6 2014 model.

Also the BRP in black are reasonably priced, like £400 but that is purely the board and the rubber inlay. Hence why I'm wondering if any other parts are needed.

Also, to run an ipod with the Audio, do I need anything extra or is there already a USB ready input.

Thanks

Regarding the Seal floorboards. Yes, the SE5 DLX model does fit the 2014 RT SE6. I confirmed it with John at Seal. I'm expecting mine this afternoon.

2013 frame is the same as 2014  As far as that goes I believe all year RT foot pegs are the same and the Seals are all the same except SM vs SE. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.
