Anyone fit a Tail Box on a 2014 RSS?

Anyone add a tail box on a 2014 RSS?
Would like to install a tail rack and box.

Put a Corbin trunk on both my 08 and 09 GS/RS models. The RSS should be similar.

Think the sports rack /Top box stopped at the ‘13, at least what my ‘14catalog stops at, there is a passenger seat bag #280000320 $139.49

This is what I have on my 2016 ST-S...it's the Givi top box, matches my saddle bags.
I already had the passenger backrest, and needed to add the rack for the top box to mount onto.

I made my own steel mount for my 08 GS and added a top box ..... this was before anything was made by after-market vendors .... It can be done ..... Mike :thumbup:

EBay , however the case mounts to the backrest that mounts to the sports rack:banghead: some have made other mounts

I did something similar but instead of cutting a whole on the mounting plate I cut a nylon cutting board to shape. I bought an extra plate for the tail and drilled holes for the mounting plate and cut the cutting board to roughly the same shape as the cover then mounted everything to the plate an put it in place then set the trunk onto the mounting plate.

Well , this post is from 13 years ago right before my trip to the very first Spyder Homecoming in Valcourt Quebec. :yikes: but this is my post of how I did I it. Your setup would be the same . This is prior to me adding the givi side bags which were added at the homecoming . Side note ~ The post linked below is from SpyderTalk which was the predominant Spyder forum ( which Lamont was a member of ) before he left and started his own , aka : Spyderlovers. Hey Bromfla! That is my spyder that you have a picture of with the cutout in the Givi top case mount!
Did you have that spyder before? Orange 2011 RSS?
