• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

For the last couple of days it's been like a crap shoot for me trying to connect to spyderlovers. Is anyone else having a problem?

As I see it..!!

it must be a northeast thing..:roflblack: Been working fine here on the west coast....

Been mostly off line in the Greater Waleska, GA Quadroplex. That's The area surrounding our 4 way stop. No stoplight yet, then we'll be a depressed& overpopulated plex

Server was probably moved from Tennessee to Missouri ;-)

Its not spyderlovers, its your ISP's DNS server is not up to date with the IP address for spyderlovers.com If you continue getting the not found errors, try setting your DNS server to Google's free public DNS 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 and it will come up. Speak to your ISP about keeping thier DNS servers up to date.

No idea why spyderlovers.com changed ip addresses or the old address was not contained in several DNS servers around the country.

I ran into it a few times over the last few days here in Durango. CenturyLink's DNS could not find it. Sprint and Google had no problem.

Been out for 2 days. Back this AM. :thumbup:And Bob shot me an email to see if it was just him, must have been having withdrawal symptoms.

I got a server not found error last night here in NH. I thought my internet was down but other sites worked fine. It's working fine this am.

It seems to be Yahoo. I don't use Yahoo but it kicked Google Chrome off. I guess even the big boys are hacking now.

I couldn't get connected since Froday morning... :yikes:
