A while back I changed the battery on a 2020 RTL. At the time, I found some water around the battery. I looked around, but didn't find anything that looked wrong.
Well today, I washed my Spyder and since I was getting ready to go on a trip, I thought I would check the battery terminals make sure they were tight. The battery was completely wet; the outer fuse box covers had water in them, but the inner covers inside were dry. The only thing I did was wash it; no high pressure or anything like that, not even a hard spray!
I started checking, and it is coming from the top by the frunk - behind the top seal of the frunk there is a big gap! So you need to check this if you wash or ride in the rain.
When I get back, I will be talking to the dealer about this. It's a bad design! Tomorrow, I going to try to do something with it for my trip.
Anyone else seen this? If it gets in the fuse block, that would be a major problem.

) then the battery is fully exposed to the weather, any water spray, and the open air that gets in from behind the frunk? :dontknow:
