Anyone done a track day?

I'm signing up for a "try the track" with my Spyder, but I'm a little nervous. Has anyone else done this? I know I'll want to be at the end of the line, but anything else I should watch out for?

Boy would I love to do that! How did you find out where you can do a track day? Nah, don't be nervous but how fast can you go? Doesn't the :spyder:shut down if you go past 120 or something?

I found out about this one through hubby's Ducati buddies (another reason why I'll be at the end of the line). Arranged by trackaddix.com, but I'm sure there's similar groups in other parts of the country.
I can hardly wait. I'm practicing on all the interstate on and off ramps.:firstplace:

For those on the east coast, VIR does track days as well. You may have to become a club member, not sure how it is working this year under new management. Went last year, had a good time, mostly super sports there but they enjoyed watching the spyder go down the track and smoke a couple sports in the process. Not always the bike, it is the driver too.

I was so close, but it never gelled with the other riders. We were going to rent Arroyo Seco in Deming in mid winter...oh well.
