• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone catch some "air" on their Spyder yet?

I was just wondering if anyone went airborn on their Spyder yet. If so, how did the TCS behave? Just curious.

Jumping Spyder

Not yet here either. Spyder is layed up for the winter. I know the perfect spot to do it this summer though. Straight a way and a nice hump in the road. :yikes: I do a lot of jumps on my jet skiies ... so this will be interesting.

Be careful! The Spyder is very front heavy, and has very little ground clearance.

Yes. Been there,done that.

Made no difference at all to any of the sensors.

I must say that when I became airbourn I did roll off the gas so as not to over-rev the engine.:p

Hold my beer and watch this....:yikes:

For the few of you that have not heard the joke:

The above statement was the last thing ever said by many a "redneck".

Just barely. I got the front wheels off (compressed the suspension just before apex and lifted on the bars) but I do not think the rear cleared pavement. If it did I could not tell as I let off to keep from spinning the rear tire just in case.

Didn't seem to cause any issues but then I did't get much either.

My feeling is this vehicle is not a jumper.

I have had my Spyder 6 feet in the air for thousands of miles, and it has never once hap an VSS issue!

Of course it's when it's in the upper level of our tractor trailer on it's way to the rallies. :joke:
