• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Last summer we saw a Spyder, looked lowered and appeared to have a stretched swing arm. Was running a jackshaft and huge rear wheel / tire. Rear tire was well worn.

There are/were a few turbo charged ones on here, one did some time on Bonneville Salt...He's on engine 3 or 4. Nobody's done a time run on Pikes peak yet that I have heard of.

Which class would a Spyder un in at the strip? The 1/2 ton 100 hp class? I don't think the Spyder has a lot of potential even if it is blown. If fast is the objective, buy something with a much better power to weight ratio as a starting point. I guess you could race a Spyder running ET class... then it wouildn't matter how slow the thing was; only that it was consistent.

Docdoru...
The difficulty in turning the Spyder into a quarter-mile weapon: it's basic configuration does not lend itself to the proper transfer of weight rearward, upon launch...
